• Do not remove rocks, fossils, or petrified wood from the site. It’s illegal and damaging to the ecosystem.
• Drone use is prohibited in the wilderness area.
• Motorized vehicles, strollers, wagons, and bikes are not permitted.
• Campfires are not allowed. Keep the wilderness pristine by using a camp stove.
• If you plan to take commercial photos or videos, you need a permit from the BLM Farmington Field Office.

Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness is located about 40 miles south of Farmington, New Mexico. To get there, take U.S. Route 550 south, then turn onto County Road 7500. Follow signs to the wilderness entrance. The road can be rough, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.
